She passionately believes in the need for greater diversity in the States Assembly and would love to be a part of the next assembly in finalising local issues which have remained unresolved for years.

Suzanne did not want to be part of a political party with the restraints that entails but welcomed the opportunity of joining A Better Way 2022 – where candidates can maintain their independence but be part of a group of likeminded individuals working together.

Marissa Warren

Having returned to the island after a number of years working in London, Marisa felt passionately that she wanted to be involved in a positive way with the upcoming election.

Not being ready to stand herself, and not feeling like she could align with any one party’s way of thinking, she looked to find people who shared her values of being able to retain independence of thought but working in collaboration with others.

She likes nothing more than walking along the beach or cliff paths enjoying what makes Jersey (in her eyes) such a beautiful place to call home.

Robert Surcouf

Robert is an accountant running a risk and enterprise management business and is married with two school aged children and is active in his Parish as one of the two Procurer du Bien Public.

Whilst not able to stand due to his current commitments he strongly believes in the importance of independents and is keen to help support Independents that are committed to a more positive form of Government for all in our community without being tied to one common political ideology.

Toni Roberts

Toni managed the fiduciary business of an international bank in Jersey travelling extensively to meet with clients in the Americas, Europe and Asia and has also worked with local charities and as a Jersey Overseas Aid Commissioner leading a number of JOA working parties.

The upcoming election, in Toni's view,  is very important because of external issues which may affect the Island and local issues which have remained unresolved for a number of years.
